Cat despre GST ce sa spun, arata foarte bine dar lexus a copiat deja aceasta idee (vezi Lexus HPX).

Un model lansat in 2003 E 55 AMG:
At the 2002 Brussels motorshow Mercedes Benz introduced a completely new E-Class. Like most cars in the Mercedes Benz line-up the E-Class boasts a performance oriented 'AMG' model. The supercharged engine installed in this E55 AMG was introduced for road use in the SL55 AMG launched at the 2001 Frankfurt show. This isn't the only feature derived from the SL55 as the E55 is also equipped with Sensotronic Brake Control. The Speedshift automatic gearbox has a manual mode which allows for gears to be changed at the touch of a button on the steering wheel.

Benz GP


Built especially by Benz for the French GP, the three cars finished second, third and seventh. Power came from a 12.8 litre straight 4 cylinder engine, producing 135bhp. It formed the basis of the 1909 'Blitzen Benz', the fastest car in the world of its day, with a top speed of 228 km/h.

Mercedes Benz W25 Avus Streamliner


This is the Mercedes Benz W25 Avus Streamliner, as raced in the 1937 Avus GP. The organisers of the 1937 Avus Grand Prix decided to drop the contemporary 750kg weight limit rule to allow a free formula without a weight limit. For this race Mercedes fitted a V12 engine in a W25 chassis with an aerodynamic body. Manfred von Brauchitsch qualified the Streamliner on pole with a top speed of 380 km/h but failed to finish after a gear lever problem.

This is the Mercedes Benz W165, as built and raced in 1939. The W165 was a scaled down version of the W154 and built to comply with the rules of some Italian races like the prestigious Tripoli Grand Prix. The rules asked for a 1.5 litre engine instead of the 3 litre engines in the other GPs and Mercedes Benz engineers constructed a 1.5 litre V8 engine in just 6 months, this was Mercedes Benz first ever V8 engine. Two W165s were entered in the Tripoli GP and they finished first and second.

This is the Mercedes Benz C111, as built in 1969. It was fitted with a rotary engine with 3 combustion chambers. Mercedes Benz built various concepts fitted with rotary engines in the 60's and 70's. Rotary engines were not the most fuel efficient engines and the rotary boom was cut short because of the fuel crises in the 70's. After this C111 Mercedes Benz also built a C111 fitted with a 4 rotor engine that produced over 400bhp. A total of 16 C111's were built, including both the three and four rotor cars.

Am vazut la dw-tv cum ca in Stutgard exista un centru de recuparerari auto mercedes specializat al Mercedes-Benz:
Te ducei cu masina noua sau veche iti stabilea un pret in functie de stare masini. Iar apoi o lua o dezmembra pana la sasiu, scotea totul ce se putea valorifica, si restu dadea la casat.

Piesele care se puteau valorifica erau revandue dupa ce erau testate in privinta calitatii, astfel acolo gasea-i aproape orice!

Astfel Mercedes scoate milioane de euro anual din recuperari!

Sper sa aibe logica!!!
