"It had been intended that the new series of Top Gear would begin on 8 October. Given the circumstances, it's still too early to say when the series will return. Jeremy, James and the Top Gear team have been completely focussed on Richard and all that the wonderful staff of the Leeds General Infirmary have done for him.

"The priority for now must be ensuring Richard makes a full recovery, but we would not think of finalising plans for the next series without discussing it with everyone involved. When it is suitable, the team will do this and we will announce a new transmission date."

Set the TiVo: Hammond crash will be made into show

Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond's crash that came at the hands of a jet-powered dragster going 300 mph may find its way onto a tellie near you (or halfway around the world if you live in the U.S.). The BBC would like to air a special that shows not only footage of the crash, but also the preparation that went into the stunt and examine what may have went wrong that led to the Hamster in the hospital. Only one catch: Hammond has to agree to the idea. Word around the net is that Hammond does want the footage shown, so we should be expecting the show to air when the Hamster has fully recovered, which his neurosurgeon says should be in about six months. We have to admit feeling guilty for wanting to see the crash, but if Hammond's cool with it then we'll have our bittorrent client at the ready.

Filming resumed today for Top Gear, according to The Sun. Yay!

Top Gear host Richard Hammond�s horror 300mph crash will NOT spell the end of the show.

BBC crews resume work on the next series today � filming TV co-host and Sun columnist Jeremy Clarkson test-driving a Lotus.

Hammond was furious the BBC postponed the new series following his accident. Executive producer Andy Wilman vowed to quit if the emphasis on speed was toned down.

And Clarkson � filming at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey today � stressed: �It�s what we do.�

Am vazut si eu The good,the bad an the ugly si sincer prestatia lui nea Jeremy la cat il apreciez eu ma cam dezamagit,adica acest film a fost facut pentru a scoate in evidenta ce masini de doi lei fac americanii in comparatie cu masinile europenilor,nea Clarky comparand un 300c srt8 cu un M5 chit ca e vreo 60.000 euro diferenta intre ele ca pret si vreo 80 de cp ca putere sau comparatia cretina intre un Ford Mustang tunat de Roush si un Lotus Exige S2 pe circuit,iar in final cireasa de pe tort fiind...domne singura masina buna facuta de americani...Ford GT...right
